The Meridian Institute of Language and Culture is not just another online language school; we are a community. We value a personal connection with our students and strive to provide individual support throughout their learning journey at MILC. Moreover, our students can connect with one another, build friendships, and network through our communicative, student-centered programs.
What We Teach
The program provides language and culture classes, workshops, webinars, conversation practice, and tutoring with an emphasis on American English and cross-cultural awareness. Our courses align with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages, which serve as “a roadmap to guide learners to develop competence to communicate effectively and interact with cultural competence to participate in multilingual communities at home and around the world” (ACTFL).
