1. How much do classes cost?

a. Tuition ranges depending on the type and length of the class. For example, an 8-week Accent Modification course (total of 28 hours) is $672. b. Specialized and custom programs are individually priced.

2. How can I pay for my program?

Payment accepted through PayPal and Zelle

3. Can I receive a refund if I cannot attend all the class meetings?

There are no refunds after the drop deadline (50% of the course length). Partial refunds are available before the drop deadline. (See refund schedule for your course.)

4. Are there any other fees or costs involved in my participation in the classes and programs offered at the Meridian Institute of Language and Culture?

a. There is a one-time $50 registration fee. b. Some courses may require you to purchase materials.

5. How do I register?

Once your application is submitted, a Meridian representative will contact you within 3 business days to schedule a placement test, assist you in selecting available courses, and complete the registration.

6. Do I need to provide any documentation to take classes at the Meridian Institute of Language and Culture?

a. No. All that is needed is the information provided on the application form.

7. Is the Meridian Institute of Language and Culture accredited?

No. The Meridian Institute of Language and Culture is a private institution that aims to attain accreditation in the near future.

8. Can I earn a certificate from the Meridian Institute of Language and Culture?

Yes. We offer certificates in our language and culture programs.

9. Are there any other languages taught within the institute?

Yes. If there is enough interest and instructors available, courses in other languages will be offered.

10. Do you offer tutoring?

Yes. We provide one-on-one tutoring and shared tutoring services in English and other languages if tutors are available.

11. What if I don’t know my language level?

Your English language level will be assessed by a Meridian representative before you select your courses.

12. Where is the Meridian Institute of Language and Culture located?

The Institute is being operated from Santa Monica, California; however, our classes are primarily held online. Face-to-face interactions are conducted through video-conferencing technology, such as Zoom. The physical mailing address for MILC is: 24307 Magic Mountain Pkwy, #234, Valencia, CA 91355.

13. Is there anyone I can talk to if I have additional questions before registering for classes?
